FIEL STATEMENT ON SB4
[Houston TX.] On Tuesday November 21, 2023 Governor Abbott signed SB4 into law FIEL Released the following statement . FIEL Spokespeople are available for comment.
" We adamantly condemn that Governor Abbot has decided to kick off his holiday season by launching an attack on immigrants. Just a few days before the holiday governor Abbott has decided to sign SB4 sending a shilling effect into the immigrant community, We fear that this may lead to many economic, civil and legal consequences for the State of Texas. It is regretful that in a state where immigrants contribute so much the governor has decided to use our community as scapegoats to further his political ambitions.
