"We are once again calling for the mayor and HPD to come clean and say out loud what we all know: HPD is collaborating with ICE . We are at a crossroads where this does not reflect well on our city when the Mayor is saying one thing but something else is happening in our streets. We have questions. 1. Are the directives not clear 2. Is HPS willing to put itself at risk of lawsuits to appease Abbott and Trump? 3 Are officers doing as they please and how does this reflect on Chief Diaz and Mayor Whitmire’s leadership?
