PELOSI AND SCHUMER ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT ON DACA
DREAMER COMMUNITY REMAINS HOPEFUL
[Houston, TX] On Wednesday September 13, 2017 Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer announced that they have reach and agreement on DACA with President Trump. FIEL spokespeople are available for comment.
"We welcome this as a first good step in solving the DREAMer issue which congress and past presidents have failed to fully resolve. The dreamer community as well as the general community is very worried about the plight of the dreamers. We hope that the negotiations continue and that we may resolve this issue as a nation soon. DREAMers and their families will continue to fight since we know that the broader issues still remain such as finding a solution to our broader broken immigration system.
