DREAMers prepare for the END of DACA

Last effort to apply

[Houston, TX] On Tuesday October 3 2017 at 11am at FIEL Headquarter (6610 Harwin #214 Houston, TX 77036) FIEL Members, DACA Holders and community leaders will gather in a press conference to encourage all DACA renewal applicants to submit their applications and announce plans for a rally on Oct 5 (last day for DACA applications).

On September The Trump Administration made a determination to rescind the DACA Program. The Administration will allow for all those whose work permits expires PRIOR to March 5, 2018 to apply for one last renewal. THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE Oct 5, 2017. We encourage all DACA Holders to reapply if they can. We are preparing our community for the end of DACA by helping them figure out a plan for themselves and their families.
"We condemn the Trump Administration for rescinding the program which has granted over 800,000 young immigrant the ability to work and contribute to our society. We hope to work in the next couple of months to provide a more permanent solution to this population as well as their families. We encourage all eligible persons to reapply. " Cesar Espinosa, FIEL Executive Director.
