Community comes together on veterans day
[Houston TX] On Saturday November 11, 2017 beginning at 4pm (until 7pm) at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen (2009 Congress Houston, TX ) Veterans community members and students will gather to provide dinner for the homeless vets of Downtown Houston.
The last 3 years my friends ands and I have especially felt a need to help our HOMELESS VETERANS. We feel that on Veterans Day they should not be hungry. I know that there are many free meals being offered to us veterans but many times our homeless veterans are not able to go to restuarants or do not have rides.

"I have been downtown to help feed homeless people every month for the last 6 years. Over the years I have met many great people who have come on hard times. So we are bringing good food to them. And good conversation. We are going to sit down and eat with our military brothers and sisters and share a meal with them.
