FIEL UNVEILS A MURAL HONORING UVALDE VICTIMS
[HOUSTON, TX]On Monday June 13 2022 at 11:00am at 115 Shaver St Pasadena, TX 77506 Floyd Mendoza (Artist) FIEL Spokespeople and community members will gather to unveil this very important artwork.
"When we were approached by Mr. Mendoza we knew that we had to make his vision come to fruition. The tragedy that occured in Uvalde shook us all and as time goes on we must not forget. So, an installation such as this will be a constant reminder of why we need to keep advocating for vulnerable communities especially children.. Our hope is that we keep the conversation moving forward and we find common sense solutions which will protect our kids. " – Cesar Espinosa FIEL Executive Director
