Rumors were again swirling online that immigration agents were conducting raids in Houston.
Monica Treviño, who hosts an online Spanish-language radio show and runs a Facebook group for Latinas, turned to the only place she knew that could help: The advocacy group FIEL Houston, and its director, Cesar Espinosa. He dispelled the rumors in a Facebook live video, explaining what rights immigrants here illegally have.
