OCT 5TH DACA RALLY

[Houston, TX] On Thursday Oct 5th 2017 at 7:00pm at Houston City Hall (901 Bagby houston, TX 77002), DACA Holders, Families, and community leaders will gather to recommit to the fight for the DREAM Act. FIEL Spokespeople and affected families will be available for comment.
As the deadline to reapply for DACA comes to a close FIEL, the oldest and largest DREAMer right’s organization in the Greater Houston Area, is committed to fight for our community’s rights. We have fought for the DREAM Act for over a decade and are committed to fighting for our students for as long as it is necessary. .On September The Trump Administration made a determination to rescind the DACA Program. We are preparing our community for the end of DACA by helping them figure out a plan for themselves and their families.
"We are committed to our families and our community. Whether its DACA DREAM Act or whatever next comes we will be in the fight advocating for our community. We will recommit to bringing the DREAM Act up for a vote within the next six months. " Cesar Espinosa, FIEL Executive Director.
