Renters Gather to Receive Guidance a Month After Harvey
Following violations from slumlords
[Houston, TX] On Thursday Oct 12, 2017 at 7:30pm at Southwest Elementary School (8440 Bissonnet Houston, TX 77074) Residents from the Rockport Apartments will gather with Attorneys and community advocates to receive guidance as to their rights as tenants.
" Months after Harvey we are seeing now many issues arise in terms or renter landlord relations. We are working with very vulnerable populations to make sure that they know about their rights and how they can advocate from themselves and their families. We are hoping to have representatives from the City of Houston attorneys and community advocates. " Cesar Espinosa, FIEL Executive Director.
