"We stand adamantly against the recently signed executive order because it will continue to detain children. This EO is only being used a political stunt to seem more ‘compassionate’ but at the end of the day CHILDREN WILL CONTINUE to be detained. We would hope that we can continue to push on the administration and congress to fix our broken immigration system so that no child has to be detained. We will continue with the planned actions we have since now families will be detained INDEFINITELY with their children and thus the deprivation of a child’s freedom is still at play.
