FIEL AND WOORI JUNTOS HEAD TO NEW ORLEANS

[HOUSTON, TX]On Wednesday July 6 2022, at 2AM at FIEL Headquarters (6610 Harwin #214 Houston, TX 77036) FIEL Members and Woori Juntos Members will gather to board the bus and head to New Orleans for the 5th Circuit Hearing on DACA. Participants will be available for comment

The schedule is as follows

1:30am Reunirse en FIEL / Meet at FIEL

2:00am Salir en camino a Nuevo Orleans/ Leave to New Orleans

8:00am Lllegar a la corte/ Arrive at court

2:30pm Partir de Regreso a Houston/ Load back to Houston

8:20pm Regresar a Houston/ Return to Houston

" On Wednesday July 6th 2022 we will be boarding a bus with affected families and making the 6 hour trip to New Orleans to be present at the hearing on DACA in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Although we do not expect a decision to come down on Wednesday it is important that we are there to send them and the US a Message that we will not stay silent. We further understand that we may not influence the judges but our community and our country need to remember that we exist and that DACA has been a vitla program for me and 750,000 DREAMers in the US. The time for congress to pass the DREAM Act and an Immigration Reform package is now more critical than ever seeing that this case will make it to the Supreme Court and given that court’s makeup we fear they may side with Trump.
