14 YEARS OF DACA
[HOUSTON, TX] On Monday June 15, 2026 at 9:30 am at Houston City Hall (901 Bagby Houston , TX 77002) DREAMers, DACA Recipients, Families allies and Congresswoman Silvia Garcia will gather to talk about the past 14 years of DACA and the path forward. Affected people will be available for comment.
" 14 years ago many of us woke up to some of the best news we had heard in all of lives. For the first time we were going to be free from persecution! It was such a triumphant moment that many of us will never forget Here we are 14 years later with a program which has proven time and time again that it works fighting to keep that program alive. Court days advocacy and community have all brought us to this moment. We are grateful for 14 years but not more than ever, we have to figure out what is next.
