JUDGE ORDERS THE RELEASE OF KEY WITNESS IN LORENZO SALGADO ARAUJO
[HOUSTON, TX] On Tuesday, July 27 a federal judge issued an order to immediately release a key witness in the murder of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. Jose Trinidad Rojas must be released within 48 hours.
" A fair and transparent process must be protected in the murder of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. This is a step in the right direction of many things that need to happen in order for the family and Mr Lorenzo to get the Justice they deserve. For the last twenty days, we had felt that these witnesses were being held without a reason. We are confident that due process still exists and we feel the judge made the right decision. We also hope that the other witnesses are released soon.
