BUSINESS THREATENS TO CALL ICE ON CONTRACTOR
[HOUSTON, TX] On Monday September 14, 2026 at 10:00am at G Motors (3301 FM 1960 W, Houston, TX 77068) FIEL Spokespeople, Community Members and Affected Contractors will gather to bring attention to a growing problem in our area, which is bad actors calling ICE on workers in order not to pay them.

"We have see over the last year since Trump took office more and more people threatening workers to call ICE on them as a recourse for not paying them. We are tired of this practice, and we must begin exposing these bad actors so that they can stop this practice. In this case, the owner of G Motors even went as far as to block in our members and then proceeded to threaten them to call ICE. This is unacceptable, but it is enabled by the rhetoric coming from the white house. We will pursue the necessary action against G Motors and ask that anyone who has been a victim of them to come forward. " -Cesar Espinosa FIEL Houston
